EVOLIO is a fast-paced survival roguelike where you control a single cell fighting against endless waves of deadly pathogens. Battle through 10 stages, each with 10 waves of increasingly dangerous bacteria, viruses, fungi, parasites, and swarm organisms. Defeat the stage boss to trigger cellular evolution and unlock powerful new forms.
Your cell auto-attacks enemies using biological weapons. Start with the Antibody Shot, then unlock Enzyme Burst (AoE explosion), Flagella Whip (rotating melee), and more. Level up by collecting XP from defeated enemies, and choose new weapons or upgrade existing ones.
Each time you defeat a stage boss, your cell evolves into a new form — from Armored Cell to Hunter, Neural, Predator, Regenerative, Venomous, Mutant, Fortress, War, and finally the Transcendent Cell. Each evolution boosts your stats and spawns a satellite daughter cell that fights alongside you.
Antibody Shot, Enzyme Burst, Flagella Whip — your weapons fire automatically. Focus on dodging and positioning while your arsenal handles the offense.
10 evolution tiers: Armored, Hunter, Neural, Predator, Regenerative, Venomous, Mutant, Fortress, War, and Transcendent. Each boss kill triggers a new evolution.
Choose from 8 passive abilities: Max HP, Speed, Armor, Regeneration, Magnet, Cooldown Reduction, Might (damage), and Growth (XP bonus). Combine weapons and passives strategically to create powerful synergies.
1. Move: Use mouse/keyboard (desktop) or joystick (mobile) to dodge enemies.
2. Fight: Your weapons fire automatically — focus on positioning!
3. Level Up: Collect XP gems from kills, then choose a weapon or passive upgrade.
4. Evolve: Defeat each stage boss to evolve and grow stronger.
5. Survive: Clear all 10 stages to achieve victory and compete on the leaderboard!
